Prompt Contest #4 1/2 Results

Welcome Back!!

We are here to find the results of the third prompt contest on this blog!

Thank you to everyone who entered!

The winner this week entered something that captured the vision of this blog. Something that I hope everyone can use in all the creative things they do.

Everyone say congratulations to Brooklyne Nickell!!!

Brooklyne Nickel and her horse Rosie

Brooklyne took a unique look at the prompt. Where I was imagining what life must be like for the girl in the picture, Brooklyne saw someone who looks at life from a different perspective.

Which is what I hope for this blog. I want to inspire you to see things differently based on what is presented and that others see it different as well.

So here is the original prompt.

And here is Brooklyn's winning entry!!!

And I have to add what Brooklyne said about her entry so it makes a little more sense.

"I love playing around with writing things backwards, and when I saw your prompt of the girl reading upside down, I thought of one word. So... read this in the mirror! :)

"Each one of us have different perspectives and tastes in books. My favorite book might to be someone else's worst read ever. They might see it as upside down or backwards. But all it takes is a different perspective."

Congratulations Brooklyne!!!

If you want to see more of what Brooklyne can do head on over to bensshowersofblessings.blogspot.com

Oh and before I forget, the Flash Fiction contest is still open until 8:00 tonight. So if you haven't entered yet head over and see what you can do in just a couple hundred words. It's both easier and harder than it sounds :) But it is also a lot of fun! So don't miss out!
