Purpose
The purpose of this blog is to help you exercise your craft through challenges and contests.
This blog is not for me to impart my wisdom onto the internet. I think there's enough blogs out there doing that already.
This blog is not to give you writing advice. Anything that I could tell you is already out there on some other blog. Besides, I don't think I have enough experience to give the right advice anyway.
This blog is here to stretch the skills that you enjoy using. To exercise the artistic muscles that you already have.
This blog is going to be strictly for learning new things. For challenges and contests to help you practice and grow your craft.
And it doesn't have to be just writing. I plan to have writing, drawing, crafting, and even photo contests and challenges. I want you to learn to use your whole brain and maybe learn some things about yourself that you never knew before.
So go ahead. Look around. See if you can participate in any of the challenges. If it's something you've never done before, then maybe you can try it. See if you enjoy it.
If you don't want to participate in any of the contests or challenges then you can also check out what other people have entered. There's a lot of talent out there that's just waiting to be discovered.
And maybe you'll discover that you're enjoying yourself here.
