Prompt Contest #2 Results

The Results Are In!!!!

Prompt Contest #2 is complete!

Thank you to everyone who entered! And to those who gave the suggestion to give a longer deadline because they couldn't enter. I will definitely take that into account. :)

I was especially encouraged by the winner of this weeks prompt challenge. Everyone say congratulations to Brooklyne Nickell!!!!

Brooklyne Nickel and her horse Rosie

Brooklyne wrote a beautiful poem that really captured the idea in the prompt, but in a different way than the picture ever could.

Writing wabi sabi borrows from an old Japanese concept to help your writing productivity and creativity. Learn how to write wabi sabi.

Flying above, eventually

by Brooklyne Nickel

One brush stroke
That creates
A wisp, a feather
Of a ink world

One keyboard
A story
Takes roots, like trees
Of a ink world

Flying above, eventually

~~~
Artists turn
Mistakes into
Masterpieces
Of a ink world
Authors turn
Edits into
Fangirl confetti
Of a ink world
Flying above, eventually
~~~

Ink worlds always
Remember
Humble blotches
And meager drafts

Ink worlds never
Are confined
Breaking through all
Barriers

Flying above, eventually

Congratulations Brooklyne! Your poem inspires me even more than the original prompt did.
