Flash Fiction Contest #2

Welcome!

Hello everybody and welcome to the Flash Fiction Contest!

If you haven't already, I recommend reading the other pages on this blog. Particularly the Schedule and the Purpose. You can also find them linked in the side menu.

The contest on Mondays here are just for Flash Fiction!

This means that I will give you a prompt of some sort and you get to enter a really short story.

Rules for this contest:

  • Flash fiction must follow the rules from the rules page.
  • Minimum of 100 words
  • Maximum of 300 words
  • Send entries to grinderlauren@gmail.com
  • Subject line should be 'Flash Fiction' along with your first and last name
  • Include your word count at the bottom of your entry
  • Get your entry in before the deadline
  • Have fun!
If you don't follow these rules your entry will be disqualified. Especially the last one ;)

Due to the inability of some to enter contests because of my short deadline I will be extending the deadline to allow more people to have the chance to enter. This will be effecting the schedule as well. 

Deadline: Wednesday. 8:00 PM, MTN time September 5, 2018

Any entries submitted after the deadline will be disqualified.

Any entries not following the rules from https://4yourinspiring.blogspot.com/p/rules.html will be disqualified.

All entries belong to you. I will not claim ownership of them

I will feature all the entries on the collection page for everyone to see.

The winner will be featured on Friday's post for you to share with you're friends and family to announce your wonderful accomplishment!

Just so you know:

This picture is not mine. I just found it on Pinterest. I do not own it. It just inspires me. If any of these pictures come from a TV show or movie that you know, don't tell the other contestants. This is for inspiration and I don't want it tainted by preexisting stories.

    Sounds fun! I'll see if I can write some flash fiction by Wednesday! But in the past, I always try to write something short, but it turns into way longer than first planned... :)

      Yay! I can't wait to see what you come up with! I always end up with something too long as well and I have to cut stuff out :)
